That's why Blizz is testing out the new stream downloader which is like 100 times faster; for me to download the 5 gigs for the pre-Cata (4.0.1 part 1&2)) took about 2 days, while a 15gig (the PTR pre-Cata patches with stream and had to download it twice) took me 'bout 2hours. As it stands, Destiny 2 on PC is a fun, smooth, flashy shooter. It’s still better than any other loot-shooter on PC, and it remains the one with the highest production values.
PC gamers might even find it a bit too easy at first, as it's not that tough to blow away Destiny 2's slower enemies if you have fast mousing reflexes. The game's combat also feels a bit more

my windows 10 machine (realtek RTL8192CU wireless lan 802.11n usb 2.0) download speed 1.51 mb, upload 19.74mb and ping 12 and can only connect through 2.4GHz network. my apple laptop and imac next to the pc both run 200mb download over 5GHz network and between 50 and 60mb over the 2.4GHz with also only 20mb upload. why is it that the PC is so slow. I had the same issue last night and this will work. Turn off the PS4 system completely, not in sleep mode. Turn it back on and load Destiny up and let it start downloading from where you were and it should move a lot faster. I did this 3 times and it downloaded about 30 times faster.
